The Capgemini Senior Sales Specialist is an experienced, aggressive sales professional responsible for sourcing and selling new business opportunities within the metals and chemicals industry.
Responsibilities- Develop new business in the Metals/Chemicals industry and drive the sales process using subject matter experts and executives as needed.
- Originate and qualify leads through networking, social media, events, and other sources, and build relationships with C-level executives within targeted accounts.
- Collaborate with solutions teams in Technology Services, Outsourcing, and Sector groups to build and win a pipeline of new/add‑on business.
- Increase opportunities across all service lines, taking accountability for qualification and closure of new business within accounts.
- Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process, developing and running a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Provide strategic direction and drive business with the client to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Lead the overall account plan and forecast, and provide status reports.
- Extensive experience serving clients within the metals and chemicals industry.
- 10+ years of experience in business development roles in enterprise sales of IT and business-related services.
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets year-over-year.
- Proven "hunter" ability to generate organic revenue growth via prospecting tools and techniques.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior executives within the designated sector.
- Documented achievement of annual sales quotas.
- Ability to travel extensively as required.
The base compensation range for this role is $88,544 – $281,842. Base salary may vary based on location, qualifications, and performance. Additional variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions may be available depending on the position and applicable laws.
