Area Sales Manager – DFW Territory
About the Role: OLIPOP seeks an Area Sales Manager in Dallas, TX to represent the company throughout the Dallas‑Fort Worth and broader Texas territory. You will prioritize high‑impact areas and partner with distributors, food brokers, retailers, and third‑party sales resources to drive volume and distribution goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on monthly volume and distribution goals and achieve overall market objectives.
- Manage partnerships with distributors, food brokers, and retailers in the DFW and Texas market.
- Conduct weekly route rides with DSD partners and food brokers to identify opportunities for under‑performing accounts and routes.
- Monitor inventory and proper use of POS material; follow through on all commitments.
- Assist the Regional Sales Manager in distributor management meetings by providing documented reports on distribution, display, and sales.
- Implement incentive programs to guide distributors toward sales objectives.
- Manage chain retailers: new product launches and retail programs.
- Identify and open new accounts, building relationships and gaining secondary purchase points, shelf expansion, and cooler placement.
- Collaborate with field‑marketing teams to create comprehensive marketing plans to increase market share.
Required Qualifications:
- Deep passion for Olipop and desire to make an impact.
- Obsession with understanding customer behavior and consumer insights.
- Comfortable working in an early‑stage, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously from start to finish.
- Adaptability to ambiguity with a propensity to ask the right questions.
- Excellent planning, organization, project management, interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Competence with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Slack, and Zoom.
- Resident of Dallas/Fort Worth area with daily travel capability.
- Clean driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
Does Not Require: MBA or college degree; founders do not have them.
Compensation: $72K – $80K annually.
Reporting: Regional Sales Manager Southwest.
