Overview

Job Title:

SDR/BDR/Inside Sales

Location:

Dallas, TX, Onsite role

Responsibilities
  • Hunting:
    Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Cold Calling:
    Initiate outbound calls to potential clients and partners.
  • Execute a high volume of daily outbound sales activities (60+ calls, 40+ emails, 20+ Linked In messages)
  • Develop targeted prospect lists within the energy sector (Wind, Solar, BESS, Natural Gas)
  • Follow structured multi-touch cadences across phone, email, and Linked In to engage decision-makers
  • Overcome objections and navigate gatekeepers to reach key stakeholders in energy organizations
  • Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand prospect challenges and qualify opportunities
  • Schedule demos and meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities and prospect information in our CRM (Hubspot)
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and meetings set
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and lead generation strategies for the energy sector
  • Continuously research prospects to personalize outreach with relevant industry insights
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and competitive drive
  • Ability to handle frequent rejection while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Excellent time management skills to balance multiple outreach methods efficiently
  • Insurance sales/cold calling customers experience is a big plus
  • Resilience and persistence for high-volume outbound calling (minimum 60 calls per day)
  • Proficiency with Linked In Sales Navigator and social selling techniques
  • Basic understanding of or interest in energy markets, power generation, or utilities
