Overview
Job Title:
SDR/BDR/Inside Sales
Location:
Dallas, TX, Onsite role
- Hunting:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities. - Cold Calling:
Initiate outbound calls to potential clients and partners. - Execute a high volume of daily outbound sales activities (60+ calls, 40+ emails, 20+ Linked In messages)
- Develop targeted prospect lists within the energy sector (Wind, Solar, BESS, Natural Gas)
- Follow structured multi-touch cadences across phone, email, and Linked In to engage decision-makers
- Overcome objections and navigate gatekeepers to reach key stakeholders in energy organizations
- Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand prospect challenges and qualify opportunities
- Schedule demos and meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities and prospect information in our CRM (Hubspot)
- Achieve and exceed monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and meetings set
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and lead generation strategies for the energy sector
- Continuously research prospects to personalize outreach with relevant industry insights
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ years experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and competitive drive
- Ability to handle frequent rejection while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple outreach methods efficiently
- Insurance sales/cold calling customers experience is a big plus
- Resilience and persistence for high-volume outbound calling (minimum 60 calls per day)
- Proficiency with Linked In Sales Navigator and social selling techniques
- Basic understanding of or interest in energy markets, power generation, or utilities
