A global manufacturer of premium glass packaging solutions is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to drive business development and account growth within the spirits and consumer products markets. The company designs, manufactures, and decorates high-end packaging products for leading brands across beverage, beauty, personal care, food, and specialty consumer goods industries.
This role offers the opportunity to work with established national and international brands while helping expand market share throughout the United States.
Position SummaryThe Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within the premium packaging sector. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to customers while partnering closely with internal teams to deliver innovative packaging solutions.
The position requires a highly motivated, field-oriented sales professional who can operate independently while managing a regional territory and key account portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development- Drive revenue growth within the premium packaging market
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with consumer brands, manufacturers, distributors, and strategic partners
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through implementation
- Achieve annual sales objectives and business development targets
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer relationships
- Develop long-term partnerships with regional and national brands
- Understand customer objectives and provide customized packaging solutions
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies throughout Texas and surrounding markets
- Identify new channel, distribution, and partnership opportunities
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, pricing, and market developments
- Gather customer insights to support business planning and product initiatives
- Present product portfolios and customized packaging solutions to customers
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and operations teams to develop customer-specific offerings
- Recommend alternative products based on specifications, availability, performance, and cost considerations
- Support customers through product development and commercialization processes
- Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and growth projections
- Maintain CRM records and sales activity reporting
- Prepare account reviews, market analyses, and pipeline updates
- Provide regular updates regarding customer activity, competitive intelligence, and market opportunities
- Partner with operations, supply chain, production, logistics, and customer service teams
- Coordinate pricing, inventory planning, and project execution activities
- Support new product launches and strategic growth initiatives
- Ensure customer projects are completed accurately and on schedule
- 5+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience
- Proven success managing strategic customer relationships and generating new business
- Strong understanding of the U.S. market and consultative selling methodologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently within a territory-based sales environment
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Packaging, manufacturing, consumer products, beverage, spirits, food & beverage, or related industries
- Experience selling customized or highly engineered products
- Exposure to distribution networks and brand-owner relationships
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn manufacturing processes and product specifications
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
