We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Sales Specialist to join the Scranton Products / Metpar team. This individual is responsible to build awareness, create demand, and generate specifications and sales of toilet partitions and lockers among architects, designers, and additional spec-driven project influencers in a designated territory. Salary for this position: $65,000 - $115,000, which includes a semi-annual Sales Incentive Bonus program with exceeding of targeted goals.
The sales territory covers all of Texas.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to build and maintain relationships with architects and designers, specifically through regular delivery of formal product presentations (CEU’s) and providing product knowledge.
- Partner with Product Specialists & Reps for planning and approach to individual geographic market targets.
- Address any key inquiries about products and their applications.
- Initiate and develop Case Study opportunities to further marketing sales efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams through regular communication and CRM usage to ensure accurate customer records and budget management.
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and strong experience with CRM systems and other customer management skills and tools.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and other customer influencers.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capability to work independently while effectively managing time and tasks.
- Sales & Presentation Ability:
Skilled in presenting to groups, gaining product acceptance, and focusing on meeting customer needs. - Effective Communication and Leadership:
Proficient in both oral and written communication with the ability to influence and lead others. - Attention to Detail and Accountability:
Meticulous in task completion and responsible for actions and outcomes. - Time Management:
Ability to work independently and flexibly schedule that will involve various methods of travel and overnights. - Adaptability and Teamwork:
Flexible and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or technical school preferred - Experience:
2+ years sales, architectural, general building construction methods, customer complaint resolution, product experience. - Computer
Skills:
Applies skills in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Use of computer as CRM (Salesforce) to enter data, create reports, correspondence, etc. - Certifications & Licenses:
Valid Drivers’ License - Other Requirements:
Ability to travel using common forms of transportation (air, auto, train, etc.)
