Regional Sales Manager – South Central Region (TX, OK, LA, Western TN)

Rennco is searching for a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to drive packaging machinery sales in the South Central United States. The role will be based in Dallas, Texas, or another strategic location within the assigned territory and reports to the Director of Distribution Products.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve quarterly sales goals and year‑over‑year growth.
  • Prepare Strategic Action Plans and Tactical Action Plans aligned with the company’s values, vision, and sales forecast.
  • Maintain and enhance existing customer accounts by providing innovative sales support.
  • Develop new accounts from leads and prospecting efforts.
  • Collect all necessary data to evaluate potential new projects from customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to offer the best solution to the customer.
  • Initiate RFQs with required application specifications.
  • Lead win‑win negotiations to optimize customer ROI and product margins.
  • Stay abreast of new technology, market developments, standards, and competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with sales teams from other Pro Mach brands to identify integrated solutions and cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Conduct yourself with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Experience with packaging automation, e‑commerce, automotive, or pharma (plus).
  • Desire and potential to develop into a commercial leadership role.
  • Self‑starter with strong business acumen and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and positive attitude.
  • Proven ability to sell ideas, concepts, and programs.
  • Consultative, ROI solution selling experience.
  • Proven ability to prospect, develop new accounts, and maintain and renew existing accounts.
  • Ability to translate client needs into concrete solutions.
  • Experience setting product/project scope parameters, pricing policies, and contract negotiation.
  • Must be willing to travel a minimum of 75%.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM software.
