The Person al Banker I position provides exceptional customer experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing long‑lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers. This role processes teller transactions and works as a member of the platform staff, helping customers understand and address their financial needs and providing solutions across the customer lifecycle.

• Create a memorable customer experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships in an assigned book of business through proactive outreach efforts in person, over the phone, or other appropriate channels.
• Use a consultative approach with current or prospective customers to uncover and identify their needs while tailoring recommendations, solutions, and advice.
• Maintain working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered.
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure customers' needs are met and all problems are resolved.
• Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions that align with their needs.
• Provide customer support needed to reinforce the value of current and new technology.
• Process teller transactions and adhere to balancing guidelines.
• Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, modeling the ethical behavior expected from every employee within the Bancorp.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED and 6 months customer service experience, or college degree or equivalent military experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with both new household acquisitions and deepening customer relationships.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication.
• Exhibits business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions.
• This position requires SAFE Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

• Extending viewing of computer screens.

The base salary reflects the range for this pay grade across the U.S. Salaries vary based on role, skill set, experience, education, and geographic location. The role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan based on performance.
