A well-established flexible packaging manufacturer is expanding its commercial team and is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with an active book of business in food or beverage markets. This is a straightforward, growth-driven role for someone who knows the flexible packaging landscape, understands how to build long-term customer relationships, and wants to join a company that backs its salespeople with strong technical and operational support.
WhatYou’ll Be Selling
You’ll focus exclusively on flexible packaging solutions for major food and beverage processors selling films, laminations, rollstock, lidding, and pouch formats used across a wide range of everyday consumer products.
Your Work- Grow and manage your territory with a mix of existing accounts and targeted new business
- Stay close to customers, understand their requirements, and position the right solutions
- Lead pricing discussions, project scoping, and forecasting with support from internal teams
- Work directly with operations, engineering, and quality to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain consistent pipeline activity and regular CRM updates
- Travel nationally for customer meetings, plant visits, and key industry events
This is a role for someone who enjoys selling, enjoys being in front of customers, and wants the freedom to build real momentum.
What You Bring- 5–10+ years of flexible packaging sales experience
- A proven book of business with food or beverage accounts
- A history of closing complex programs and nurturing long-term relationships
- Strong communication skills and confidence positioning technical products
- A steady, reliable approach to forecasting and managing a sales pipeline
- Comfort traveling regularly to stay connected with customers
