Outside Sales Representative – Construction Equipment

A growing heavy equipment dealership is seeking an ambitious, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing business. We are seeking an individual with equipment sales experience who wants to build a long-term career and be rewarded for performance.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and grow relationships with construction, agricultural, landscaping, and industrial customers throughout your assigned territory
  • Prospect for new business while maintaining existing customer relationships
  • Conduct equipment demonstrations and identify solutions that meet customer needs
  • Generate equipment, attachment, and service sales opportunities
  • Follow up on leads and maintain a consistent sales pipeline
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales presentations
  • Collaborate with parts and service teams to deliver exceptional customer support
  • Represent the dealership professionally in the marketplace
What We're Looking For
  • Proven success in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Competitive mindset with a desire to exceed goals
  • Self-starter who enjoys working independently
  • Ability to develop new business through prospecting and networking
  • Mechanical aptitude or interest in equipment is a plus
  • Construction, agricultural, equipment, automotive, industrial, or rental industry experience is beneficial but not required
