Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by proactively selling exhibitor products and services across designated events, managing an annual revenue target of $1.5M.
- Identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts and follow‑up on inbound leads.
- Consult with exhibitors to understand their business objectives and recommend lead retrieval and other exhibitor‑focused solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations via phone, virtual meetings, and webinars, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Drive incremental revenue through upselling and cross‑selling complementary products and services.
- Maintain accurate customer, sales, and account information within internal sales and exhibitor management systems while ensuring products, pricing, and services align with contractual agreements.
- Partner with Strategic Account Managers, Project Managers, Registration Specialists, Onsite Lead Specialists, Operations, and IT teams to support exhibitor needs and ensure successful event execution.
- Strong sales aptitude with the ability to influence, negotiate, and close business effectively.
- Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience, including both outbound prospecting and inbound lead management.
- Demonstrated success achieving individual sales goals and contributing to team performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship‑building, and active listening skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer‑centric approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. - Experience selling technology, SaaS, event services, or business solutions.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales management systems.
