Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory.

Schedule and Pay

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
Pay: $23 per hour plus 10% Monthly Bonus Opportunity

Requirements
  • Personal vehicle
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proof of insurance
  • Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening
Key Responsibilities
  • Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner
  • Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits
  • Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence
  • Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in store
  • Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met
  • Partner with the client to train and advocate client products at the retailer
  • Drive merchant awareness within your assigned territory
  • Maintain professional interaction with both merchants and fellow employees
  • Attempt to place point of purchase signage on exterior and/or interior of business
  • Advise merchants by providing information on products
  • Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising displays, and merchant feedback
  • Travel to major markets and events for iconic launches to promote products
  • Assist in launch‑related activities as needed
  • Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
  • Ensure feedback reporting is submitted in a timely manner
Work Environment
  • Field‑based position with daily travel within your assigned territory
  • Approximately 22–35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling
  • Mix of in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up
  • Independent work style supported by leadership and training teams

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal & problem‑solving skills
  • Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment
  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
  • Reliable transportation within assigned territory
Performance Metrics
  • Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals
  • Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals
  • Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly
  • Effectively schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance
  • Effectively execute assigned activities inside each location during all visits
  • Effectively demonstrate ability to establish and influence business relationships through merchant awareness, POP placement, and consistent productivity
  • Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit
