Description

About the Position—We are seeking an organized, energetic, and customer-focused Showroom Manager to oversee the daily appearance and operation of our Dallas showroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating beautiful spaces, coordinating events, and building customer relationships. The position combines showroom management with outside sales opportunities. During trade shows, you will play a key role in preparing our showroom, supporting our Design Team, and ensuring a successful experience for both customers and staff.

Between trade shows (off-season), you will maintain the showroom while developing sales within an assigned regional territory. You will earn an hourly wage as well as earn commission on sales generated within your territory.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.
  • Open the showroom 2–3 days per week during the off-season.
  • Ensure product displays are neat, properly merchandised, and presentation‑ready.
  • Monitor showroom supplies and coordinate basic maintenance as needed.
  • Support the Design Team in resetting the showroom with new seasonal collections, displays, and themes.
  • Clean, organize, and prepare the showroom prior to each trade show.
  • Ensure the showroom is fully ready before the sales team and customers arrive.
  • Be present throughout all four annual trade shows.
  • Coordinate and arrange daily lunches for showroom staff during each show.
  • Help maintain showroom appearance throughout the event.
  • Assist customers and provide outstanding hospitality.
  • Manage an assigned regional sales territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Prospect for new business and grow territory sales.
  • Conduct customer outreach during the off-season through phone calls, email, and customer visits.
  • Follow up on leads generated during trade shows.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Must be available before and throughout all four annual trade shows.
  • Off‑season:
    Approximately 2–3 days per week in the showroom.
  • Longer working hours may be required during showroom setup and during the trade shows.
Compensation

  • Sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in retail merchandising, showroom management, interior design, home décor, furniture, or wholesale sales is a plus.
