PositionSummary
The National Account Manager is responsible for developing and growing strategic retail and distributor partnerships throughout Texas. This role will manage key customer relationships, drive sales growth, expand distribution, and execute category and promotional strategies that strengthen Juanita’s Foods’ presence across major retail and food service channels.
Key Responsibilities- Manage strategic customer relationships with major Texas-based and regional accounts, including grocery retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and club stores.
- Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve sales, profit, and distribution objectives.
- Lead customer negotiations involving pricing, promotions, new item placements, and annual agreements.
- Identify opportunities to increase distribution, shelf placement, merchandising, and category share.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers using syndicated data and sales analytics.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure successful execution of customer programs.
- Manage promotional calendars, trade spending, and return‑on‑investment analysis.
- Support new product launches and innovation initiatives within assigned accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights relevant to the Texas market.
- Partner with brokers and field sales teams to ensure execution at store level.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in CPG, food manufacturing, or consumer products sales.
- Experience managing major grocery, club, mass, or distributor accounts.
- Strong understanding of the Texas grocery market and Hispanic consumer segment.
- Deep cultural fluency with Hispanic and Latino consumers and authentic knowledge of Mexican cuisine and food traditions.
- Proven success in negotiations, business planning, and account growth.
- Experience utilizing Circana/IRI, Nielsen, Retail Link, or similar sales analytics tools.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM skills.
- Ability to travel throughout Texas as needed.
- Established relationships with H-E-B and other major Texas grocery and Hispanic‑focused retail buyers.
- Food service and/or broadline distributor sales experience.
- Experience in a private equity‑backed or growth‑stage CPG environment.
- MBA or advanced degree a plus.

This position reports directly to Chief Customer Officer. The National Account Manager is an individual‑contributor role responsible for assigned Texas accounts and partners closely with brokers and field sales teams to drive execution at store level.
- Field‑based role covering assigned Texas accounts; based in the Dallas or San Antonio
- Travel throughout Texas as needed, including customer meetings, retailer line reviews, and industry events, based on business demands and seasonal programming.
- Fast‑paced, hands‑on, middle‑market environment requiring strong ownership, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
