- Drive customer loyalty to grow share of account by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Negotiate group business, guest room rates, meeting room rental, and hotel services within assigned markets that meet or exceed hotel revenue goals.
- Ensure all aspects of solicitation, closing, and customer communications are complete, documented, and maintained with an active trace/follow‑up system.
- Maintain accurate and complete use of the sales system per SOP, including recording all bookings and lost business.
- Identify and solicit new accounts via telemarketing, appointments, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries via email, phone, and in person.
- Develop, maintain, and prospect a target list of accounts and communicate updates to DOS.
- Detail BEOs with clients for groups with meeting space and distribute with appropriate staff.
- Organize banquet or catering services to ensure all events run as planned.
- Meet with heads of other departments to coordinate any planned events.
- Monitor events and address unexpected problems as they arise to keep functions on track.
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑conference meetings when agreed with the client.
- Attend property‑specific receptions to generate leads and interact with customers.
- Organize and execute local area blitzes.
- Implement special promotions relating to sales segment.
- Establish relationships with local businesses and organizations, and be an active member in local industry associations.
- Build relationships with competitors in similar roles to stay apprised of market trends and industry supply changes.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, including predetermined revenue and sales activity targets.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of high‑school education; post‑high‑school education preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years in a hotel service role or sales experience preferred.

- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Understand the need for a time strategy as developed by Revenue Management.
- Flexible work hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with the hiring process, which may include a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
