General

Description

The Senior Sales Event Manager (SSEM) is responsible for driving individual sales performance while supporting Ultimate Ventures’ overall sales efforts and team success. The SSEM will own their pipeline, be accountable for revenue and margin, build relationships and close business, and excel at high-quality proposal development and consistent execution of the sales process.

The SSEM contributes to sales strategy execution, supports product development and creative collaboration, and helps maintain strong client relationships. This individual is expected to have a thorough working knowledge of UV’s services to effectively sell, support marketing efforts, and ensure quality throughout the sales cycle, including proposals, pricing, and contracts.

This role requires daily interaction with members of the Leadership team and teammates across sales and creative functions, while consistently modeling and supporting UV’s values and service philosophy.

Job Responsibilities Sales & Client Engagement (Primary Focus)
  • Proactively generate new business through personal network, referrals, and targeted outreach
  • Build and maintain relationships with hotel partners, CVBs, and industry contacts to drive lead flow
  • Proactively build, manage, and grow a personal sales pipeline to meet or exceed individual revenue, conversion, and gross profit targets
  • Consult with clients on product offerings, developing and presenting proposals that align with client needs
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, sales presentations, and calls
  • Develop creative, client-focused solutions and recommend appropriate products/services
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and communication throughout the sales cycle
Sales Process Execution
  • Execute established sales processes to ensure timeliness, quality, and consistency
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline and program data
  • Participate in weekly sales reporting and pipeline discussions
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the sales process and provide feedback to leadership
Budgeting, Proposal & Contract Support
  • Develop and review proposals for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client expectations
  • Ensure pricing supports profitability goals and aligns with company standards
  • Support contract development and revisions as needed
Program Support
  • Maintain strategic involvement in programs to support client relationships
  • Partner with operations to ensure seamless handoff and client satisfaction
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to team members, sharing best practices and supporting development
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
  • Participate in onboarding and training support for new team members as needed
  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding team performance, challenges, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team members (DOAM, DOP, Marketing, etc.) to support execution of sales and operational strategies
  • Participate in team training initiatives (e.g., Lunch & Learns)
  • Assist in resolving challenges that arise during the sales or operational process
  • Support rollout of new initiatives, tools, or process updates
Meetings & Communication
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and staff meetings
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with leadership as scheduled
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and leadership
