Job Description & How to Apply Below

This is a growth-oriented commercial sales role with strong business development responsibility. The successful candidate will help open new customer relationships, create qualified opportunities, lead commercial discussions, and convert early market opportunities into orders.

The role will focus on priority end markets including data centers, industrial power systems, renewable energy infrastructure, and selected utility / grid modernization applications. Key routes to market may include direct customer engagement, EPCs, electrical contractors, owner's engineers, manufacturer's representatives, channel partners, and transformer service companies. We are looking for someone who combines transformer industry credibility with practical market-entry execution capability.

The right candidate should understand large transformer sales, customer procurement processes, technical specifications, supplier qualification, and complex project-based selling, while also knowing how to create practical entry points through distribution transformers, pad-mounted transformers, package substations, medium-voltage applications, data center power infrastructure, and industrial power systems.

This role requires hands-on customer development, solution-oriented selling, commercial ownership, and the ability to help build a scalable transformer business in a new-market-entry environment. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth business at an early stage and help shape the commercial foundation of Industry's transformer business in the United States.

You'll Do
  • Develop revenue opportunities, qualified pipeline, order growth, and margin-conscious commercial execution for U.S. transformer and power infrastructure sales.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline across priority end markets and go-to-market channels.
  • Develop new customer relationships through direct customer engagement, EPC / contractor influence, channel partnerships, and strategic account development.
  • Convert qualified opportunities into orders by managing customer needs, technical-commercial alignment, pricing discussions, and deal progression.
  • Create practical market-entry opportunities through distribution transformers, pad-mounted transformers, package substations, medium-voltage applications, and data center / industrial power infrastructure projects.
  • Build a scalable pathway toward larger power transformer, substation, utility, and strategic infrastructure opportunities.
  • Lead customer qualification, technical-commercial discussions, bid strategy, pricing, contract negotiation, and deal structuring.
  • Work closely with solution engineering, manufacturing, commercial support, delivery, quality, logistics, and service teams to support strong customer execution.
  • Analyze customer demand, competitive positioning, market pricing, capacity dynamics, and supply-chain constraints to identify high-value opportunities and support disciplined commercial decisions.
  • Develop strategic accounts and repeatable sales channels through reliable delivery, responsive service, value-added technical support, and strong post-order execution.
  • Represent the company in customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and partner discussions to build market credibility and brand visibility.
  • Continuously improve customer development methods, pipeline discipline, account planning, and sales execution practices to support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of commercial sales, business development, or key account experience in transformers, power equipment, electrical equipment, or power infrastructure.
  • Direct commercial experience with power transformers, large distribution transformers, or transformer solutions for utility, EPC, data center, renewable energy, industrial, or power infrastructure customers.
  • Proven track record of developing customers, managing complex sales cycles, and closing transformer or power equipment opportunities in competitive markets.
  • Strong understanding of transformer applications, customer procurement workflows, technical specifications, bidding processes, supplier qualification, pricing,…
