Role Description The Field Sales Representative is a part-time, hourly, on-site role based in Dallas, TX responsible for growing Yourgi’s presence in the local market. In this position, the representative identifies and engages pet care providers and related businesses, presenting the Yourgi platform and onboarding qualified partners. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and cold outreach, scheduling and conducting in-person meetings, delivering product demonstrations, and negotiating partnership agreements.

The role also involves maintaining a strong pipeline in a defined territory, tracking activities and results in a CRM, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize local campaigns and feedback. The representative will attend local events, build relationships with community organizations, and act as a brand ambassador for Yourgi in the Dallas area. 3>

A former dog walker or pet sitter who built a book and moved on, a vet practice or clinic manager, someone who worked at a pet supply retailer or a distributor. Qualifications\ul> i Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals. i Experience in field sales, territory management, or account management, ideally in marketplace, SaaS, or service industries. i Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse partners and stakeholders. i Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships, with strong negotiation and objection-handling capabilities. i Comfort with using CRM tools, basic data analysis, and reporting to manage pipeline and performance.

i Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while meeting targets in an on-site, field-based environment. i Knowledge of or passion for the pet care industry and local Dallas market is highly beneficial. i Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the Dallas area. i Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience preferred.
