About Our Client Our client is a premier, family-owned and operated moving and relocation provider based in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex. Established by professionals dedicated to perfecting the relocation process, the organization’s leadership brings over 40 years of industry expertise to the table. Originally founded with a compassionate, specialized focus on senior transitions—and operating as a proud member of NASMM (National Association of Senior Move Managers)—the company has significantly expanded over the last nearly three decades into a highly versatile, full-service logistics firm.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, leverage, and aggressively grow an inherited book of business from day one, guiding the client experience from the initial introduction through to a successful move execution.
Conduct daily in-person, on-site surveys and consultations for a highly diverse customer base, encompassing senior transitions, high-net-worth residential estates, and commercial logistics.
Operate autonomously in a fully field-based capacity with zero mandatory in-office requirements, maximizing face-to-face time with prospective clients and referral partners.
Cultivate and expand a robust local referral network, partnering consistently with area realtors, property managers, and community business leaders.
Learn and utilize the company's proprietary in-house estimating and management systems, transitioning traditional survey methods into comprehensive digital solutions.
Structure customized moving proposals, deliver accurate pricing estimates, and ensure relentless follow-up to close sales and drive revenue.
Key Experience & Skills Required
5+ years of outside sales experience within the moving and storage industry is highly preferred; however, deeply ambitious, highly driven, and personable professionals from outside the industry with a willingness to learn will be strongly considered.
A true "hunter" mentality with a high degree of self-motivation, discipline, and the ability to generate results without direct micromanagement.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building immediate trust with diverse demographics—from senior citizens to luxury real estate agents.
Adaptability and a coachable mindset, with the willingness to be trained on the company’s specific internal systems and operational procedures.
Proven ability to manage a flexible compensation structure (the client offers highly negotiable packages tailored to experience, ranging from a strong base salary plus commission for proven veterans, to performance-heavy structures for those eager to prove themselves).
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel seamlessly throughout the local DFW market for daily client appointments.
