Job Description – Account Manager (Internal Sales Representative)As an Account Manager, you will create and nurture ongoing relationships with dealer partners to increase the number of funded deals. You will manage your own dealer base, providing training and prospecting opportunities, and driving growth for both Westlake and the dealerships.
Responsibilities- Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within independent and franchise dealerships.
- Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
- Follow-up on new CRM-generated leads and referrals arising from telephone outreach.
- Develop, maintain and grow dealer relationships within the independent and franchise dealer communities.
- Maintain consistent, effective communication via phone, email, and video meetings to train partners on current programs and fast funding requirements.
- Provide solutions, rehash and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a profitable manner for Westlake and the dealerships.
- Demonstrated experience in automotive, finance, or sales (preferred).
- 1–2 years of previous sales experience with a proven track record.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
- Clear and effective presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
- Goal-oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
- Ability to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams.
- Self-determined, performance-based compensation package with no commission limit.
- 6‑month compensation guarantee of $5,000/month.
- Average earnings: $160,000 after 1 year; top 25% earn ~$245,000; top 50% ~$305,000.
