Sales Consultant

Paychex seeks a Sales Consultant to drive new mid-market business in the finance and insurance sector. You'll lead consultative sales of payroll, HR, and benefits solutions, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop mid-market finance and insurance clients for Paychex HR, payroll, and benefits solutions
• Lead consultative sales conversations to assess client needs and recommend tailored Paychex services
• Manage a full sales cycle from lead qualification through close and handoff to implementation teams
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and partner referrals
• Deliver product demonstrations and proposals to decision-makers and stakeholder groups
• Collaborate with internal HR, product, and service teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales, revenue, and activity targets
• Track activities, opportunities, and forecasts accurately in CRM systems
• Stay current on payroll, HR, benefits, and compliance trends impacting mid-market clients
• Represent Paychex at industry events, webinars, and client meetings to grow brand presence
