About our Client
Our client is a Series B cybersecurity company building an AI security platform spanning AI governance, AI agent security, and AI runtime security. Their product maps everything touching a company's critical SaaS systems, then connects it back to who is using it and what they're actually doing with it. The pitch to CISOs isn't to shut AI adoption down. It's to give security teams the visibility and controls to let it happen safely.
They raised a $30M Series B earlier this year, bringing total funding to $85M. The round came less than ten months after their previous raise and followed 400% ARR growth in 2025. The team is about 140 people globally with Dallas becoming their primary US sales hub, with sales leadership, BDRs, AEs, Rev Ops, and solutions engineering leadership all based there.
They have big expectations over the next few years and are building a strong infrastructure to achieve them - this is a great time to join!
About the RoleThis is a Commercial Account Executive role based in Dallas, roughly three days a week in office, reporting to the SVP of Americas Sales.
You'd be one of the first hires on a commercial team that's being built right now. Until recently, enterprise reps covered the smaller accounts so you'd be one of the first AEs in this segment.
What the role involves:
- Selling into companies with 0 to 2,500 employees
- Roughly $700K annual quota, with typical deals landing between $30K and $70K, though their existing commercial rep has closed one at $230K
- Around 70% self-generated pipeline, with inbound support available
- Owning a territory end to end, including travel to meet customers and partners
- Working closely with the channel, which is becoming a bigger part of how they go to market
- Direct access to sales leadership and the CEO, who gives every AE his phone number and expects to be pulled into deals where he can help
This is a good fit if you've proven you can close and want the next thing to be bigger. You'd be selling an AI security story into a market where buyers are already feeling urgency, at a company where the commercial motion is early enough that your fingerprints end up on it.
Compensation is approximately $210K to $220K OTE on a 50/50 split.
Must-have requirements- Prior SDR experience
- 1 to 2+ years of closing experience at a cybersecurity company
- A genuine outbound motion, with proof you can build pipeline without leads being handed to you
- Experience owning a territory
Based in Dallas and able to be in office about three days a week
