Runway Brands Group is the U.S. market entry and operating partner for international brands. We help brands launch and grow their U.S. business across wholesale, retailer marketplaces and Amazon, supported by the operational infrastructure needed to trade and scale in the market. We are founder-led and fast-growing, working with leading U.S. retailers including Nordstrom, Dillard's, Macy's and Bloomingdale's.
The RoleThis is a trading role. You take a brand and run its marketplace business: what we list, what depth of stock it needs, how it is presented and traded, what gets promoted, what we spend to drive the sale and whether the channel makes money. That runs across the retailer marketplaces our brands sell through, including Nordstrom, Macy's and Bloomingdale's, the dropship programs that sit alongside them, and Amazon.
You will work across a portfolio of premium international brands, each with a different customer and a different commercial rhythm, partnering with brand teams on assortment, forecasting, promotions and marketing while owning how the channel performs. This is a hands-on role. You will own the channel, make the key trading decisions and stay close to the execution, supported by the wider Runway team.
WhatYou'll Do
- Trade the accounts daily, reading the selling data and acting on what it tells you
- Own listings, content and catalog accuracy across every platform, from launch through seasonal refresh
- Plan and run paid acquisition across Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, and retailer media on marketplace platforms
- Manage product launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns to each brand's trading calendar
- Keep accounts healthy, resolving suppress ions, policy issues and platform problems quickly
- Work with brand teams on the right assortment strategy for each platform, using channel performance and customer insight to inform which product belongs where
- Forecast sales and stock requirements with brands, and coordinate with our operations team on availability
- Set and adjust pricing, and monitor fees, commissions and ad spend to keep each channel profitable
- Report on performance by brand and by platform, and use it to refine what we do next
- Onboard brands onto new marketplace and dropship platforms as we open them
- Proven ownership of the commercial performance of an Amazon or marketplace business: trading, marketplace operations, forecasting and profitability
- Strong hands-on Amazon experience, particularly Seller Central: catalog, content, promotions, inventory and performance. Vendor Central is a plus
- Proven product and commercial judgment, with the selling data to back the decisions you have made
- Paid acquisition experience with the results to show for it
- Analytical and commercially minded, comfortable moving between several brands and platforms in a day
- Experience beyond Amazon across premium retailer marketplaces, digital wholesale or dropship, such as Nordstrom, Macy's or Bloomingdale's
- Mirakl, Rithum or DSCO experience, though we can teach the mechanics
- A portfolio of premium international brands, rather than a single account
- Real commercial ownership of the channel, not execution against someone else's plan
- Direct access to brand founders and leadership, in a business where your work is visible
- Scope to build out the marketplace team as the brand portfolio expands
