The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving net-new revenue across the Dallas, Nashville, Chicago, and Phoenix markets by selling cybersecurity and incident-response solutions directly to CISOs, security leaders, and risk executives. This hybrid role requires a proven hunter with deep experience navigating complex security environments, leveraging channel partners, and executing high-velocity deal cycles. The AE owns the full sales motion from territory strategy and pipeline creation to closing enterprise and upper-mid-market accounts.

Key Responsibilities- Build and execute targeted outbound strategies to engage CISOs and security leadership.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across target markets (Dallas, Nashville, Chicago, Phoenix) to deliver predictable quarterly performance.
- Drive pipeline through MSSPs, VARs, IR firms, and strategic partners; co-sell and co-market effectively.
- Position Incident Response (IR), MDR, threat intelligence, and security services with strong business and technical acumen.
- Lead high-impact conversations with CISOs, CIOs, and security directors; manage multi-stakeholder buying committees.
- Own the full sales cycle from qualification through negotiation and close.
- Partner with IR teams, delivery, marketing, and leadership to accelerate deals and improve win rates.
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and provide reliable weekly forecasts
Up to 10-15% as needed for partner meetings, events, and internal team gatherings.
Qualifications- 5–10+ years selling cybersecurity, IR, MDR, or related security services.
- Proven success selling directly to CISOs and senior security leaders.
- Strong experience working with channel partners (VARs, MSSPs, IR firms).
- Demonstrated ability to hunt, create pipeline, and close net-new logos.
- Deep understanding of security pain points: ransomware, IR readiness, detection gaps, compliance, and risk.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical concepts into executive-level value.
- Experience selling in Dallas, Nashville, Chicago, or Phoenix preferred.
- Hunter mentality; thrives in competitive, fast-moving environments.
- Comfortable selling IR and security services with urgency and executive presence.
- Operates with autonomy, accountability, and high activity levels.
- Resilient, resourceful, and able to create opportunities where none exist.
- Builds a repeatable pipeline engine across the four target markets.
- Establishes strong channel-driven pipeline with key partners.
- Maintains high forecast accuracy and CRM discipline.
