The Showroom Brand Ambassador represents the brand within the assigned territory by building awareness, generating leads, and supporting showroom and sales initiatives. This role focuses on relationship-building, market presence, and pipeline generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the brand professionally within the showroom and broader design community.
  • Serve as a welcoming, knowledgeable point of contact for designers, trade partners, and showroom visitors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with designers and key accounts in the Dallas market.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand existing business, increase brand engagement, acquire new clients, and grow booked orders and revenue.
  • Use the showroom as a home base to host client meetings, present products, support showroom visitors, and create a polished brand experience.
  • Maintain a consistent local selling schedule by visiting clients, prospecting new accounts, conducting presentations, and following up on opportunities in the market.
  • Manage a large client base through meetings, showroom appointments, outside visits, presentations, and consistent follow-up while handling related administrative tasks.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with designers, specifiers, key accounts, trade partners, and prospective clients while delivering exceptional service.
  • Present expert product knowledge and brand differentiators clearly to build loyalty, recognition, and conversion.
  • Assist clients with product selection, pricing, lead times, specifications, samples, tear sheets, and collateral needed to support meetings and sales follow-up.
  • Review and analyze sales reports to identify growth opportunities and increase account activation.
  • Execute proactive outreach to activate accounts, convert business, and generate a healthy pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Participate in trade shows, markets, local networking events, showroom events, product launches, and market activations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, client interactions, leads, opportunities, and follow-up activity within the CRM.
  • Maintain showroom presentation and help ensure the space reflects brand standards when working from the showroom.
  • Gather competitive insights and communicate market intelligence, customer feedback, and sales opportunities to internal partners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with proven year-over-year growth, preferably within luxury or premium lighting, home furnishings, hospitality/contract, or the professional design industry.
  • Proven ability to grow revenue, activate accounts, generate leads, and build long-term client relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Polished and professional presence with the ability to represent the brand effectively in showroom, trade, and client-facing environments.
  • Strong product and design sensibility, with an interest in luxury furnishings, lighting, handcrafted products, and the professional design community.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong follow-up, attention to detail, and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working from a showroom home base while regularly going into the local market for client visits, presentations, prospecting, and sales follow-up.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner effectively with showroom teammates, external sales partners, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
