The specific pay rate and level, if applicable, will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience and location.
This position requires onsite training, typically up to 6 months, with the duration varying based on individual progress and business needs. After training, employees transition to a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the office. Work arrangements, including hybrid schedules, are subject to change based on business needs, operational requirements, and company policy. Candidates must live within commuting distance of our Dallas, TX office.

The Distribution Sales Representative (DSR) supports customers through the full quote-to-close process for new equipment sales, providing technical guidance, preparing and negotiating quotes, and coordinating closely with inside, outside, and distribution teams.
"What You'll Do"- Provides technical guidance and support for inbound customer inquiries related to equipment selection and financing solutions.
- Collaborates with OEM partners to determine correct product configurations and align solutions to customer requirements.
- Prepares, presents, and negotiates quotes in compliance with company policies, ensuring timely customer follow‑up.
- Generates and supports equipment quotes for Territory Sales Representatives (TSRs) and Account Managers (AMs) when inside sales is also involved.
- Maintains an accurate and up‑to‑date sales pipeline using proprietary systems and internal databases.
- Coordinates closely with inside and outside sales teams to manage follow‑ups, quotes, and customer needs.
- Gathers and shares competitive intelligence and insights on emerging markets and opportunities.
- Builds and maintains strong internal and external customer relationships to support long‑term growth.
- Processes and manages online sales orders efficiently as they are received.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Sales execution capability with the ability to manage the full quote-to-close process independently
- Strong technical aptitude to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions
- Effective pricing and negotiation skills within established policies and profitability guidelines
- Cross‑functional collaboration skills with inside sales, outside sales, OEM partners, and distribution teams
- Customer‑focused communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in quotes, orders, and documentation
- Ability to work with urgency and maintain performance in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate sales pipeline data and using CRM or proprietary sales systems
- Proactive mindset with the ability to share competitive insights and market feedback
- Inside sales or sales support experience, preferably in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, preferred
- Technical experience with electronic test and measurement equipment, electronics, or telecommunications products preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team required
- Proficiency with sales software, databases, and standard business applications required
