ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attain company goals.
• Develops strategy and plans for negotiating and closing sales contracts.
• Directs sales forecasting activities and sets specific product performance goals accordingly to align with corporate initiatives.
• Researches & understands current market trends to identify and communicate all opportunities to achieve profitable uniform sales
• Determines net pricing program(s) for each uniform category
• Communicates Waitressville’s corporate marketing initiatives and brand and product leadership campaigns to maximize sales & gain market presence.
• Works with CEO and CFO to constantly analyze sales performance and adjusts according to customer needs
• Analyze and direct product lines to update or eliminate unprofitable styles
• Represents Waitressville at trade association conferences & shows to promote product.
• Coordinates all sales presentations and business meetings with future sales representatives to key & strategic accounts within the territory / region.
• Assists sales representative to secure & maintain strong relationships with important accounts.
• Analyzes and controls expenditures of sales region to conform to budgetary requirements.
• Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
• Recommends budget, expenditures, and marketing appropriations for sales initiatives and trade shows.
• Assists CEO and CFO in sales meeting planning and preparation.

KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

REQUIRED

• 10+ years of progressive sales/wholesale sales experience in the apparel industry. Imprintable Sportswear experience a plus. Uniform experience a major plus.
• A proven track record of success creating an exceptional sales culture that moves quickly and creatively
• BA/BS required
• Strong understanding of the competitive environment, with a proactive eye for trends and opportunities
• Strong industry relationships with key management at the largest promotional and private label companies
• Successful history of hiring and developing a best in class sales force, and mentoring and driving performance
• Experience planning, setting, and managing sales goals to achieve growth targets
• Strong problem solving skills, quantitative skills, and understanding of retail math and retail metrics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including account qualification, negotiation and closing
• Excellent time-management skills with a track record of prioritizing and successfully meeting multiple deadlines
• Highly self-motivated and able to quickly adapt to unique situations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• A persuasive and passionate communicator with the ability to motivate and influence across departments
• Strong attention to detail, foresight, and tenacious follow-through skills
