Oxy Chem’s Summer Intern Program runs from May through August and provides an immersive, hands-on experience to help kickstart your career.
Interns take on real business projects that deliver meaningful results while working alongside industry experts, building practical skills, and connecting with site and executive leaders to strengthen their professional network.
** Description
* ** The intern will receive training on the relevant businesses and products that align with the sponsored internship project
* Interaction with all key functional teams that will support completion of the project and subsequent presentation
* Periodic shadowing opportunities with sales representatives to experience the expectations of a sales role
* Training sessions with sales leadership to develop understanding of Oxy Chem's product offerings, sales process and selling techniques
* Daily interaction with sales management team at the Dallas headquarters
** Qualifications
* ** Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Sales Management, Business Management, Marketing or Engineering with an emphasis in Business
* Must have a graduation date of December 2027 – May 2028
* Must maintain minimum cumulative 2.85 GPA on a 4.0 scale
* Desire to pursue a career as a Sales Professional and placement to one of Oxy Chem's U.S. Sales territory locations
