Candidates are expected to be self-motivated and to contribute substantively to the design, implementation, interpretation and reporting of investigational studies. Duties and responsibilities include prior experience with genetically engineered mouse models and related breeding strategies, mouse physiology studies, stereotaxic brain surgery, glucose clamps, and other neuroanatomical techniques such as chemo genetics and optogenetics, histology, cell culture, and/or proteomics/lipidomics/transcriptomics/bioinformatics to her/his ongoing projects in the lab.
Additional responsibilities will include the teaching and training of graduate students, house staff, and fellows.
The position requires an M.D./Ph.D., or Ph.D., in a basic science and two to five years of postdoctoral experience.
