Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and store associates by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a retail grocery location.
- Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the store, receiving areas, and perimeter including parking areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or medical and fire-related incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources and/or law enforcement when needed.
- Monitor entrances, key operational areas, and cash-handling zones; assist with access control and observe for policy violations and/or suspicious behavior.
- Document incidents, hazards, and/or policy concerns in written reports and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision while maintaining proper care and accountability of issued equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification Texas Only.
- Armed Guard Card/License - preferred.
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
