You will interact with shoppers and store teams, provide clear communication, and support a welcoming customer experience. This is an armed post requiring Level III armed certification and a valid driver's license, backed by Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and integrity-driven teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, including sales floor, entrances and exits, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas as assigned.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft indicators, and/or policy violations, and take appropriate action consistent with post orders to help to deter loss and disruption.
- Maintain a visible uniformed presence to support order and assist with security-related incidents such as disturbances, trespassing, and/or disorderly conduct.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, severe weather, and/or other emergencies, and coordinate with local responders as needed.
- Operate and monitor security-related systems as applicable, including video surveillance, alarm panels, radios, and access control points, and report malfunctions or irregularities.
- Control access to restricted areas such as receiving and back-of-house spaces when assigned, verifying authorization and directing foot and vehicle traffic.
- Write clear, timely reports and complete required documentation for incidents, observations, patrol activity, and/or policy violations.
- Preserve scene integrity for investigations by observing and documenting details, identifying witnesses, and coordinating with management and/or law enforcement when requested.
- Carry and handle issued firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and required training, including compliant storage, readiness checks, and secure retention.
- De-escalate confrontations using verbal techniques and professional communication, requesting additional support when needed.
- Conduct welfare checks and security-related escorts for employees and/or customers when requested and appropriate.
- Participate in shift briefings and communicate hazards, trends, and/or incident information to oncoming personnel and site leadership.
