Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $18.61 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Mon 2:00 – 10:00 PM
- Tue 2:00 – 10:00 PM
- Thur 2:00 – 10:00 PM
- Fri 2:00 – 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site‑specific security‑related procedures and access protocols at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or security‑related concerns according to post orders.
- Support emergency response activities, assist with de‑escalation when appropriate, and maintain a visible presence while carrying out assigned duties in varied environments and conditions.
- At least 1 year of experience in security‑related roles is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
