Security Flex Officer (operations/non‑commissioned)

• Provide first‑class customer service as well as the safety and security of all tenants/guests in a positive and professional manner.
• Possess an outgoing personality, polished communication skills, a presentable appearance, and overall excellent customer‑service skills.
• Have a flexible schedule and be willing to work all shifts, any day of the week—including weekends and holidays.
• Take pride in appearance and maintain a professional image.
• Have at least one year of prior security experience (preferred).
• Hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Support manpower requirements at various accounts during shortages, call‑offs, vacations, no‑shows, holidays, etc.
• Work special events as required and be prepared for short‑notice weekend and holiday shifts.
• Be at least 18 years old, possess a high‑school diploma or GED, and successfully pass a background and drug screen.
• Possess an ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs, respond to emergencies promptly, and lift heavy objects.

Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring and patrolling premises and personnel.

• Secure premises and personnel by monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; permit entry.
• Maintain departmental security procedures while patrolling areas such as building lobby, floors, parking garage, loading dock, and perimeter.
• Control all traffic in the loading dock, both vehicular and pedestrian, and monitor all material entering or leaving the dock area.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
• Complete reports recording observations, information, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses and obtain signatures.
• Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance; following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
