As an Armed Security Officer Response Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as manufacturing and industrial. Job Schedule- Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or unauthorized access attempts.
- Support security-related operations by maintaining a professional presence, following post orders for armed assignments, and preparing accurate reports on incidents, patrol activity, and notable conditions.
- Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
