** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, medical calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel according to post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and support vehicle, visitor, and material movement procedures in line with location policies and security-related protocols.

+ Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards and applicable regulations, and communicate clearly with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders when needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ An Armed Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
