- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report policy violations, equipment issues, and other security‑related concerns to site leadership.
- Maintain a visible presence while following post orders, handling security‑related incidents involving restricted areas or valuable materials, and completing accurate reports before, during, and after each shift.
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
