** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local responders when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report policy violations, equipment issues, and other security-related concerns to site leadership.

+ Maintain a visible presence while following post orders, handling security-related incidents involving restricted areas or valuable materials, and completing accurate reports before, during, and after each shift.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.

+ Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.

+ CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
