Armed Security Guards Wanted - Dallas, TX

Must have Texas Security License in hand to be considered.

Must have your own personal firearm to be considered for this role (ex. 9mm, .45) (semi‑auto).

Must have prior experience as an Armed Security Guard.

Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

Salary: $20.00 per hour (non‑negotiable)

Shift: Wed (12 pm - 8 am) Thu (6 pm - 7 am) Fri and Sat (8 pm - 7 am)

Location: Loves Travel Stop, 8800 S. Polk St., Dallas, TX 75241

• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• The security officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations for client personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Ability to obtain security certification according to the State of Texas.
• Ability to pass drug screen.
• Ability to pass background check.
