- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting security-related response efforts.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
- Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or onsite contacts regarding incidents, policy concerns, and changing conditions across the location.
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
