, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a cultural institution, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and a people-first approach grounded in teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

$22.05 / Hour

Mon – Sun: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, exhibit spaces, public areas, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor visitor access, observe crowd activity during events and daily operations, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support closing and opening procedures, assist with directional information for guests, and maintain an attentive presence that helps to promote a professional environment.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 5 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum of 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience, or a degree in criminal justice, is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
