Armed Security Officer Deterrence Patrol – Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Thu: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support entry and exit control for restricted areas, deliveries, and/or visitor traffic in accordance with site requirements.
• Support emergency preparedness by assisting with evacuations, medical responses, and/or other incident response needs while maintaining professionalism and attention to post orders.

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Possession of an armed guard card and/or license.
• A state, county, and/or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
