In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, and reliability while bringing an agile, innovative approach to daily security‑related responsibilities.
Position Type:
Part Time
Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Monday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM;
Sunday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM.
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security‑related concerns according to site protocols.
- Support incident reporting, post orders, and shift handoff communication while maintaining professional presence and readiness in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
