Our Armed Patrol Officers in this retail location conduct visible patrols and driving rounds, helping to deter security‑related incidents while supporting customers and staff with clear communication and responsive service.

Position Type:
Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 02:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Sun 02:30 PM – 10:30 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and actions as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, theft‑related concerns, and/or hazards to site management and appropriate personnel.
• Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining a professional presence and following all applicable post orders.

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
