* Summary:

** The security guard will patrol premises, monitor surveillance systems, enforce access control and security protocols, respond to incidents and emergencies, document activities, and maintain a safe environment for people and property.
*
* Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

**
* ** Monitoring and Observation:**   + Conduct routine patrols on foot to inspect the premises, buildings, and perimeter.  + Monitor security camera footage and other surveillance systems for suspicious activities.  + Identify and report any suspicious behaviors, individuals, or occurrences on the property.
* ** Access and Control:**   + Monitor and authorize the entrance and exit of clients, personnel, visitors, and vehicles.  + Screen visitors, verify identification, and maintain visitor logs as required.  + Ensure all doors, windows, and other entry points are secure.
* ** Emergency Response and Assistance:**   + Respond promptly to alarms, distress calls, and other security concerns.  + React in a timely manner to emergencies and take necessary actions to ensure the safety of people and property.  + Aid individuals in need, direct visitors, and offer general support.
* ** Reporting and Documenting:**   + Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, suspicious actions, and violations of policies.  + Maintain an accurate log of activities, security issues, and events occurring on the premises.  + Communicate clearly with leadership, law enforcement, and other emergency services when necessary.
* ** Policy Enforcement:**   + Enforce company security policies, building rules, and relevant legal protocols.  + Act as a viable deterrent to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal or unauthorized activities.

* The ability to de-escalate tense situations and manage individuals who may be intoxicated or disruptive.
* Organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.
* Flexibility to handle changing environments and evolving security challenges.
