Armed Security Guard – Dallas, TX

Job Type: Full‑time

Pilot Travel Center – 7425 Bonnie View Rd Dallas, TX 75241

Shift: Sun – Tue 5:00 pm – 5:00 am;
Wed 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Salary: $20.00 per hour (non‑negotiable)

• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a Texas Armed Security license in hand
• Must have your own personal firearm (e.g., 9mm or .45 semi‑auto)
• Must have prior experience as an Armed Security Guard
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must have a Level 3 Armed Security license (State of Texas) (required)
• Ability to obtain security certification according to the State of Texas
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Approval for E‑Verification
• Completion of onboarding process
• Approval and interview with assigned site manager
• Valid driver’s license required only for applicable driving positions

• Actively monitor premises and patrol various locations
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills
• Conduct regular and random patrols around business and perimeter
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients
• Evaluate potential risks or incidents at the client’s premises
• Serve as an open forum for reporting improprieties and sharing information
