Armed Security Guard – Dallas, TX
Job Type: Full‑time
Location:
Pilot Travel Center – 7425 Bonnie View Rd Dallas, TX 75241
Shift: Sun – Tue 5:00 pm – 5:00 am;
Wed 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Salary: $20.00 per hour (non‑negotiable)
Requirements- Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a Texas Armed Security license in hand
- Must have your own personal firearm (e.g., 9mm or .45 semi‑auto)
- Must have prior experience as an Armed Security Guard
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must have a Level 3 Armed Security license (State of Texas) (required)
- Ability to obtain security certification according to the State of Texas
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Approval for E‑Verification
- Completion of onboarding process
- Approval and interview with assigned site manager
- Valid driver’s license required only for applicable driving positions
- Actively monitor premises and patrol various locations
- Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area
- Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills
- Conduct regular and random patrols around business and perimeter
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients
- Evaluate potential risks or incidents at the client’s premises
- Serve as an open forum for reporting improprieties and sharing information
