Executive Protection Specialists provide close protection coverage for GDBA clients during domestic and international field details. Every member of this team must be experienced, physically fit, flexible, and adaptable.
Compensation:
First-year earnings start at a minimum of $120,000 per year, with potential to earn over $150,000 based on experience, overtime, and additional opportunities.
Position Type:
Full-time hourly employee; this is a travel-in position not tied to a specific GDBA office. Candidates should live within a short distance of a major airport.
- Extensive real-world experience working in a close protection role with ultra high net worth individuals or other recognizable public/government figures during domestic and international travel.
- High comfort operating as a security driver in various locations and vehicle types, including route planning and driving a manual transmission vehicle.
- Independent execution of both physical and online advances, producing clear, well‑written advance reports. Familiarity with navigating FBOs, hotels, and a wide range of public venues.
- 12‑day Introductory Training Academy in San Antonio, TX
- Successful completion of a physical readiness test (Pull-ups, Push-ups, Sit-ups, 800m run)
- Swimming proficiency
- Drug and nicotine free
- Ability to obtain appropriate state firearm and security licensing
- Completed background check
