Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Daytime:
Mon 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM. Tue 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or team members by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities within a retail grocery location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through the appropriate chain of command.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while maintaining awareness of suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft-related activity.
  • Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable laws, and support law enforcement and store leadership during security-related incidents when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
