** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report policy violations, hazards, or suspicious behavior in accordance with post orders.

+ Support security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, following weapon handling protocols, completing required reports, and assisting with investigations when appropriate.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
