Salary Range: $18.00 – $17.75 per hour

• Monitors entrances and exits; prevents unauthorized entry; controls movement of people, vehicles, and parking; operates gate and examines vehicle contents; monitors remote entrances using CCTV; operates remote access devices.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle to ensure a secure work environment; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked ingress/egress, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons; inspects buildings and grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
• Prepares logs or reports as required for site; writes or types reports or enters information into a computer using standard grammar; inspects security control logs and takes required action as per the client’s Global Security standards.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage and provides direction or information to others.
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents or conditions following procedures established for the site and commensurate with their level of training.
• Maintains Basic First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements.
• Issues necessary Hot Work Permits.
• Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.

• Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking as part of daily security activities.
