WhatDrives Success
We have an immediate opening for a Structural Welder (60‑70 hour work weeks). The role requires frequent travel across the U.S. on 3 to 4 week deployment cycles.
Responsibilities- Travel throughout the U.S. on 3 to 4 week deployment cycles.
- Read and comprehend blueprints/drawings.
- Operate Arc + Flux Core, MIG, and TIG welding equipment.
- Work overnight in existing buildings.
- Apply fire‑prevention methods for occupied space welding.
- Operate Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) and scissor lifts when authorized.
- Learn and use safety policies and proper welding safety equipment.
- Work closely with Fire Watch to ensure safety and schedule compliance.
- AWS Certification D1.1 or willingness to acquire.
- Knowledge of OSHA Regulations 29 CFR 1926 Subpart J – Welding & Cutting.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time.
- Driver's License with clean MVR.
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience.
- National background check clearance.
- Pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
- Availability to work after hours.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S.
This is an hourly non‑exempt role. The starting pay range is $31–$41 per hour. Employees are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week, as required by state law.
