Electrical Superintendent
As a member of the Craft Performance Group (CPG) operations team, the Electrical Superintendent leads the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical scopes of work on construction projects throughout the DFW market. By supervising field operations, enforcing safety and quality standards, and collaborating closely with project managers, trade partners, and inspectors, the Electrical Superintendent ensures electrical installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with code requirements—supporting CPG and ANDRES’ continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Jobsite Safety & Compliance:
Advocate safety as the number one priority on the jobsite and enforce compliance with company and jobsite safety plans, policies, and all applicable safety regulations. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses at all times; respirator when required). Maintain safety and accident reports in accordance with company standards. - Project Execution & Field Supervision:
Supervise day-to-day operations on construction sites. Plan, organize, and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work. Monitor short-term schedules and make daily work plans to ensure proper manpower utilization. Coordinate production activities and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve conflicts. Scheduling & Planning:
Assist the Project Manager in preparing construction schedules. Develop daily schedules to support efficient workflow and manpower allocation. Monitor progress and adjust plans to maintain schedule commitments. - Change Management & Procurement:
Assist with change events and change order execution. Manage material procurement and prepare purchase orders. Communicate cost, schedule, and scope impacts to the Project Manager as needed. - Quality Assurance & Code Compliance:
Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs. Coordinate quality control activities with other trades. Ensure all installations meet quality standards, electrical codes (NEC), city codes, engineering drawings, and specifications. Verify installations are correct and complete prior to inspection and turnover. - Reporting & Communication:
Maintain daily reports, time sheets, and project documentation. Communicate priority project issues to the Project Manager, including manpower concerns, job cost impacts, or quality issues. Support hiring needs through coordination with project leadership. - Project Closeout & Client Satisfaction:
Maintain overall responsibility for successful completion of the electrical scope of work, including punch list items, to Owner satisfaction. Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and ownership.
- Physical duties are a primary part of this role (more than 70%).
- Duties may include crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching.
- Must be able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds; pushing and pulling of objects also required.
- Must be able to travel to different project locations within the metroplex as needed.
- Job requires working in all elements, specifically related to hot, cold, or wet weather.
- Able to work 8‑10 hours per day/40 hours per week, as well as overtime and potential night shifts as required.
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.

- Active Texas Journeyman Electrician license.
